Classic Race

Race your heroes to the finish — the fastest right answers pull furthest ahead.

Classic Race is the original QuizKeep showdown. Open QuizKeep on the TV or a laptop and it becomes the board: a winding path through a themed world, with every player's hero lined up at the start. Everyone answers on their own phone, and every correct answer sends your hero surging along the track.

Speed matters as much as knowledge. The quickest right answers move furthest, so a confident buzz can overtake a slower expert. Bonus tiles, power-ups and answer streaks keep the lead changing hands until someone crosses the finish and the board crowns a champion.

How to play Classic Race

  1. Open the board. Start a game on the TV, laptop or tablet everyone can see, choose Classic Race, a themed world and a trivia pack.
  2. Join on your phones. Players scan the QR code or type the four-letter room code. No app download and no sign-up — each phone becomes a buzzer.
  3. Answer fast. A question appears on the big screen and four answers on every phone. Lock in yours before the timer runs out; quicker correct answers earn more.
  4. Learn the answer. After each question the board shows the right answer in words with a one-line explanation, so even a miss teaches something.
  5. Cross the finish. Heroes race across the world as points add up. The last question can be a secret wager, and the finale crowns the champion on a podium.

Tips

  • Power-ups change races: Oracle's Eye removes two wrong answers, Time Warp adds seconds, Double or Nothing doubles a question, and Blink jumps your hero ahead.
  • Turn on streaks in the host settings to multiply points for runs of correct answers.
  • The host can play from the board too — handy when it's just two of you on the couch.
